What QR Codes are:

QR is short for Quick Response. These codes are used to take a piece of information and put it into your cell phone. You will soon see QR Codes in a magazines, on billboards, web pages and even t-shirts. Once the info. is in your cell phone, it may give you details about that business (allowing users to search for nearby locations), or details about a promotion, show you a URL, a video, or pretty much anything.

The reason why they are more useful than a standard barcode is that they can store (and digitally present) much more data. The other key feature of QR Codes is that instead of requiring a chunky hand-held scanner to scan them, many modern cell phones can scan them.

How you can scan them:

In order to scan a QR code, you must first find out if your smart phone's technology can do so by itself- a quick google search of your phone type and QR Code will provide this information. If the software is not built in, all you have to do is download a FREE QR code scanning app from the App Store. This will allow you to take a picture of any QR Code and be immediately directed to the information that it provides.

RMC QR Codes:

You will begin to see RMC QR Codes around the studio, on our social media pages, in our newsletters, and right here on our homepage like the codes above. Each QR Code will take you to some new RMC information. *You will not be missing out on information if you cannot scan the codes!* Rather, these are meant to make receiving updates from us even easier. If you are in the studio, for exmample, and see a QR code on a flyer about a new program- scan it into your phone to be redirected immediately to this site where you can find al the details!

It's as easy as that. Now practice scanning the codes above!
